"O Lord, we thank Thee for the bountiful earth that we share with our fellow creatures. We pray that the peoples of this world become more aware of, and more compassionate towards, our fellow creatures and their struggle for survival amid climate change, land degradation and loss of habitat. We are all, together, part of the cycle of life.

We pray especially for our very special native Australian wildlife, so often treated as expendable.

Shine Thy light into the hearts of the land developers, hunters and shooters, cat and dog owners, that they may endeavour to minimise harm done to our vulnerable fellow creatures.

This we ask in the name of Thy Holy Trinity, Creator, Saviour and Sanctifier.
